Toddler Program
Ages 12 months to 3 Years
A Place for Busy Minds and Growing Independence
Our Toddler Program is made up of two distinct groups — Lil’ Todds and Big Todds — each designed for a specific phase of toddler development. Children are placed based on where they are developmentally, not simply how old they are.
Toddlerhood is one of the most remarkable — and rapid — periods of development in a child’s life. In just a few years, children go from taking their first steps to holding full conversations, from parallel play to genuine friendships, from total dependence to fierce independence.
At Little Feet Creative Learning, we’ve designed our Toddler Program to honor every stage of that journey with two distinct classroom groups that reflect where toddlers actually are, not just what year they were born.

Growing Through Everyday Experiences

Lil’ Todds

Lil’ Todds is designed for children who are making the exciting transition out of infancy — beginning to walk, starting to communicate, and discovering the world on their own two feet. This group bridges the nurturing closeness of our Infant Program with the growing energy and curiosity of toddlerhood.
In Lil’ Todds, the environment is calm and structured, with plenty of space for movement and exploration. Our caregivers provide the same warm, responsive attention your child received as an infant — while gently encouraging the new skills that are beginning to emerge.
• Language development - through songs, simple stories, and back-and-forth conversation
• Beginning dramatic play and imaginative exploration
• Introduction to arts — painting, drawing, sensory play
• Gross motor development through movement, climbing, and outdoor play
• Social introduction — learning to play alongside others
• Consistent daily routines that build security and confidence
The Lil Todds classroom is warm, inviting, and unmistakably Little Feet, creating a space where curiosity, confidence, and early learning naturally thrive.

Big Todds
Big Todds is where toddlers really hit their stride. Children in this group are more verbal, more social, more independent — and more opinionated. They’re ready for a classroom environment with more structure, more peer interaction, and more opportunities to practice the skills that will carry them into Preschool.
This group is also where toilet training begins in earnest. Our teachers work closely with families to support each child’s toilet training journey with patience, consistency, and zero pressure — celebrating every milestone along the way.
• Language and communication — vocabulary building and conversations
• Creative expression through painting, drawing, music, and dramatic play
• Group activities and structured circle time
• Problem-solving and early cognitive development
• Toilet training support in close partnership with families
• Beginning social skills — sharing, taking turns, making friends
• Outdoor play and gross motor development
At Little Feet Creative Learning, we have designed our Toddler Program to honor every stage of that journey, with two distinct classroom groups that reflect where toddlers truly are developmentally while building the confidence, independence, and skills that prepare them for their next big adventure, Preschool.
